License to Drive
I have one.
More specifically, I have a shiny new one, complete with my married name. I figured after two years it might be nice. Initially, since so much was in my old name, it was easier. Then, well, I hate the DMV.
So yesterday, I wanted to go and get it done. Sadly, they could take my picture but not change my name on the license. The quandary: get it done with my old name or come back AGAIN today...so I came back.
I looked like crap, but I guess what can you expect? Worst of all, I look 400lbs heavier than last time. It sucks.
The moral? Diet hard before you need a new license pic.
August 21st: A day that will live in infamy
Anyway.
Ya, ya, I know. At 32 wonderous years, what do they matter anymore? Honestly, I don't know. As long as I am still having them, I consider myself ahead of the game, right?
I have to accept the fact that sometimes....sometimes...I really like listening to BBC radio or classical music in the car. On occasion, I realize I am driving AT the speed limit and get irritated by the young punk behind me that wants me to speed up. I have reached an age that at 17 seemed OLD and antiquated.
Welcome to Megawatt Amplified!
You've been waiting for it, wanting it, begging really. I know, it's what you've always wanted...a MEGAWATT BLOG! Now, I could have made this about anything but I have instead opted to make it about EVERYTHING. Aren't you thrilled? =)
About me...I will be 32 soon, I have two daughters (8 and 10) and a husband. I'm normal in those regards, and I have the coolest dogs ever. I work full time during the day in PR and marketing, and also own my own company on the side (MEGAWATT Communications, your media powerhouse! ;) ) which I hope will one day sustain me completely.
I also sell Uppercase Living, which I will inevitably discuss. I LOVE the stuff!
So that's it for now. Hope to let you get to know me a bit better!
